York and North Yorkshire Boys Impact Hub

Inspiring Choices are launching a Boys' Impact Hub for York and North Yorkshire, intending to address the attainment gap for young men who are on free school meals (FSM)/considered disadvantaged and/or working class. We will bring together a range of organisations, including higher education institutions, secondary schools, local authorities and charities.

The hub will meet virtually or in-person on a regular basis following our lunch in Autumn 2026.

Our purpose is to provide a space in York and North Yorkshire for those who are actively engaged in working with or for young men from a working-class background to share best practice and discuss challenges/possible resolutions. As a collective voice, work together to disseminate evidence of effective regional practice to influence future policy and funding.
